About Prof Taneja ,the teacher at the camp.

Professor Roshan Taneja, veteran Indian Guru of Acting, has been teaching acting in India for over 45 years and is the pioneer in teaching method Acting in India. Prof. Roshan Taneja, was also founder and former head of the acting department at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune from 1963 - 1976. In 1976 he shifted to Mumbai and started his own school of Acting, which till date is acknowledged universally as a premier institute of Acting in India.

He himself trained at the prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, New York, under legendary American Guru of Acting, late Mr. Sanford Meisner and Mr. Sydney Pollack who went on to become an Academy award winning Director.

The course and curriculum of his acting school is based on his experience and knowledge. Roshan Taneja Foundation of Performing Arts is an acting school offering acting classes with a difference that train today’s actor.
Actors are trained with the professional course and curriculum designed by Prof. Roshan Taneja himself.
